What do the words Try, Tomorrow, and Tax Returns have in common?
What do the words “try”, “tomorrow”, and tax returns have in common?
This message today may or may not resonate with you and that is okay.
But for those of you who have eye’s to see and ears to hear..
Today’s message is for you.
Time and time again I see people falling into this self sabotage black hole.
The one thing that all 3 of those words have in common is you are waiting for “some day” to come around.
So we will start there.
First of all as a human being..
You must understand the concept of “tomorrow” IS NEVER guaranteed or promised.
So many people either do not know or completely take this fact of life for granted.
Did you know there is a 1 in 400 TRILLION chance that you are even alive?
That being said there is someone literally dying every single second of your day today..Even as I write this.
I hear people almost every single day use “I don’t have the money, but when tax time comes around…” as an excuse of when they will decide they can invest in themselves and change the trajectory of their life.
Guess what happens around tax time? SOMETHING ELSE USUALLY COMES UP?!
Sound familiar?
It happens every single time…
So how long can you wait to make the leap?
Until your relationship is wrecked? Until you’re sick ? Until your family gets sick?.. Just making a quick point.
Another excuse I hear often is “I’ll get back to you tomorrow/this week.. let me think about it”.
How many times can you remember when you follow up with someone and they ACTUALLY thought about the what you talked about a week ago?
Never?!
It’s strange how the PRESENT problems of that day tend to engulf the mind just like when you connected the first time…
When someone say’s i’ll join you “tomorrow or someday”..I know now that usually means never.
I hate to say it but that day may never actually come about or is it guaranteed for them.
But Why?
Today’s message is to realize that all we have is RIGHT NOW and to stop lying to YOURSELF about something you really have no intention of actually doing.
What does living in the present moment mean to you?
The people, the situations, the circumstances, the opportunities that are brought to you.. in my opinion are not a “coincidence” they are brought to you based off of what you are asking for behind closed doors. God (the universe) will deliver, but will you answer when your prayers actually show up?
Or will you hide behind tomorrow, tax time, and “trying” it.
All things that don’t actually exist nor are guaranteed.
Which again so many people take that concept/ blessing of life we are given for granted.
What I’ve found are these common excuses are just like saying “i’ll try someday”.
When you say “I will try” you are immediately setting yourself up for self sabotage to NEVER make a change until you decide to take action in what is actually present NOW.
You can not succeed in anything just “trying” it.
You think Olympic athletes make it to the Olympics by “trying”?
It takes complete faith combined with focus to accomplish anything worthwhile in this lifetime.
So if you are using time/money as an excuse for your laziness or fear to take responsibility for your life and loved ones..
You are wasting the most precious thing we have.
The one thing that is guaranteed..
Right now.
So what does this mean for you as a Network Marketer?
If you are frequently getting these excuses I have to keep it real with you…
Either your Target Market needs re evaluated.. or as Robert Hollis says…”your presentation sucks”.
When have you EVER truly wanted something and not found a way to find the money almost instantaneously?
I can almost guarantee that person who is “waiting” for their tax return is still going to the movies, still going out to eat, still buying video games or other crap other than a ticket to their freedom.
If you’re getting these excuses that tells me that your approach or posture could use some tuning up.
They don’t see how what you have to offer can help them with THEIR problems…
So today I’m offering to help 3 people with a FREE 10 minutes strategy session on how to fine tune their audience and teach you how to get people to tell you NO straight up instead of giving you the run around wasting your time.
Those 3 words.. “try”, Tax return” and tomorrow are killing you and your prospect. They are evaporating the time of your life.
Sadly when I hear any of those words now I tend to laugh because I can see that people are lying straight to my face and even their own face.
That can make life pretty tough when you start lying to yourself.
If you're new to my blog... Welcome ;)
