RE: Loyalty and true success

in #life7 years ago

When we are loyal to a system, money is no longer the first priority, the success of that niche becomes the main goal. We are not concerned by how we are going to rake in a steady income from ill meaning intentions, we are however concerned about how we would make a difference and accept any reward that comes with it.

Loyal to a system

It is not my intention to go against all of your words, since I agree with most of them, but I think that there is a thought that could be expressed more accurately.

Looking at money as a first priority does not necessarily mean that people will become thirsty, blood-soaked killers without loyalty. Money is a tool, and it can be set as a goal just as any other thing can be set as a goal.

When humans were nomadic and travelled in clans, their currency was the resources that they had. Leather, food, they were all exchanged if needed, but they were kept and hoarded, used as needed and set as ultimate goals, since they were needed for survival. They did not betray each other for these goods, and in a priority table it would be possible to see that the safety of a brother or sister came first than getting a piece of pelt. But their priority was still their own survival, and society was just the way they were. Friendly, social, warm and interconnected, always loyal, but with survival as the first priority.

I hope that I expressed the difference between loyalty to a system and loyalty to our social circles. One may become a blind trust for a tradition while the other may become a social custom beyond ideals, the true character of a person.
