How to be more productive!? Few strategies that everyone should try right now!

in #life6 years ago

When we say productivity, most people will agree that productivity means that we do as many things as possible every day. How we're wrong! Productivity is when we continually manage to complete important things. No matter what you do and what you do, there are only a few things that you really can consider important.

To be productive means to do several important things with established rhythms and maintain that continuity, and not do as many things as possible (often not really so important) as quickly as possible.

When we are in school and later at the faculty, we are assigned tasks that we must dedicate to as absolute priorities. When we get busy, a similar scenario continues when our leaders give us responsibilities, of course always with the labels urgently. At home, you must first focus on preparing a lunch, storing room, washing laundry, etc.

Are these important things or are they just urgent?

In this way, we are forced to learn to perform tasks according to apparent urgency and importance, in accordance with the expectations, demands of others or needs. Something that is urgent does not mean that it matters.

It's all clear, but is it possible that you start the day by doing the most important things according to your list, instead of solving another "extraordinary" situation from the sea of everyday obligations that you get every morning?

Does this mean that we must ignore our obligations at home, at college, at work? Of course not. Simply everyone needs time and place during the day to devote to these important things.

That's why this strategy is the most effective. If you do the most important thing first, you will finish something important every day. It's all the better, but to finish a few less important things, and in no way fail to finish the most important thing.

When we say you do something first, we can assume that we are talking about the first thing in the morning, but what about the people who are most productive at the end of the day?

It is considered that the power of will and desire for work is most pronounced at the beginning of the day, which means that you have at your disposal the most power and enthusiasm as a support for performing tasks in that period.

In addition to these physiological and psychological aspects that go in favor of this thesis, there is also a very practical and easy-to-understand situation that supports the idea that the most important thing is to do it first.

It can not pass the day and it does not happen to you that a day's outburst of unscheduled obligations and jobs that will surely disrupt your schedule will leave you. If you have done the most important things first, there is no danger of slowing your contingency down to a considerable extent.

More than that, there is something that is specific to all of us, which is that we simply do not like to leave things unfinished. You know that discomfort and constant thinking if we leave a job unfinished. When we start something, we want to finish it.

But it does not really have to refer to the first thing you will do in the morning, the rules do not. There is not just one way to be successful in this. We all share the early and night birds, and we adapt this principle to this.

When you decide to engage in business, at any time of the day, make sure that your important obligations find their place in the list of mandatory things that must be completed on that day.

Let's try to apply this principle for a few days, do you believe that we will all be more productive?

I am, by far, the laziest person I know. My idea of productivity is to find the quickest easiest least labour intensive way to do anything.

It's probably no coincidence that after years of work I've managed to end up working from home, whenever I can be bothered, in front of a PC, in my pyjamas.

Thx for another informative post. Easy to read.

It isnt easy to be productive.
