Are you really in Love?
Have you ever wondered if you were really in Love?
Well this is the test that can prove it once and for all.
Imagine you come home from work, you walk in the front door, you go to your bedroom expecting to see your partner but instead you're met with a note.. And this note says:
Baby, I'm sorry..I have run off with someone else and we are deeply in love and very happy together.I'm sorry I couldn't tell you this in person, but I am very very happy and fulfilled with this person.I hope that you and I one day can be friends, and I wish you the very best in life.
Hope to speak to you soon.
Now, if your response isn't:
"She found somebody that she really loves and is fulfilled, that is great!"
Then you had a little possessive attachment in your relationship and that aint love.
Now before some of you guys jump on this, let me explain why...Love is freedom
It is the acceptance of who that person is and all the new versions of that person you never expected to see...We live in a world where people literally say: "If my partner doesn't get jealous, then they don't love me for real." That's...crazy.
Now look, I'm not saying I'm perfect or that I could even do that experiment and have that reaction..I'd probably would feel a little salty and sad. But this is why this thought experiment is so good to do from time to time...Because for a healthy relationship, we have to constantly evaluate Am I being possessive? or am I truly loving this person, allowing them to have freedom?
We have to constantly ask the question:
If this person were to leave me because of a reason that would make their soul truly happy and fulfilled, would I be okay with that? Would I have peace and understanding if that happened?
The truth is ladies and gentlemen, there are three types of love.
Love If, Love Because Of and Love.
Which type of love do you want to have?
She is a dream, a miracle, a gift, she is able to lift a person from the earth and save. But often, because of the desire to find it, many rush to believe in it, easily taking completely different feelings for love, forgetting that love, passion or calculation have nothing to do with it, it is much more mysterious, stronger and more beautiful.

Nice topic to read. Many are mistaken because they do not know what true love is, they do not know how to love neither themselves nor others. And in order not to make serious mistakes and do not condemn ourselves to a miserable life, it is very important to know what true love is and what just its surrogate, which many take for it.

For me true love is in possession, control and the desire to change another person, but in care, attention and respect for a partner, desire to help, please, protect, protect from all troubles, make it easier for him or her to live, and every day was getting better and better.

That might be your reaction eventually but not initially.
If you love someone enough to be in a relationship with them, then there is a kind of obligation you owe to each other. It's wrong that a partner who claimed to love you would zoom leaving just a note.
But I agree with you, love is given not taken. If a person decides to take their love back, it's up to them.
