Some people don't get to live happily ever after. When you realize that you might be one of them, you won't suffer any more disappointments because you won't expect much from life to begin with. You stop feeling, nothing surprises you anymore, and nothing hurts you anymore. You become hard as a rock. And rocks...are really tough to break.
