माना की इनका देश अलग है किसी का भारत और किसी का पाकिस्तान है लेकिन ये जो जुबान है ये तो सारे ही इंसान है।

हम तो दूर है हमें लहू की नदिया दिखाई नहीं देती लेकिन तू तो है ना वहां। क्या तुझे भी इनकी चीखे सुनाई नहीं देती।

क्यों? क्यों मेरे जवान की कोई अहमियत नहीं है। मेरा जवान क्या इतना सस्ता है? अरे, जाकर पूछ उस गाँव में जहाँ उसका परिवार बस्ता है। अरे, अपना क्या जाता है? हमने तो पूछ लिया कि पड़ोसी मुल्को को कब मुँहतोड़ जाबाब दिया जायेंगा? अरे, उसकी माँ तो ये सोच रही है कि मेरा बेटा घर वापस आएगा।

बुझा क्यों नहीं देती? अरे, बुझा क्यों नहीं देती नफरत की आग जो हर गली में सुलग रही है या हो गयी है तू भी मुर्दा, क्या तुझे भी इंसानो की हवा लग गयी है?
