 今次是最後一篇帶大家遊覽擁有「英國後花園」美譽的肯郡的城市——坎特伯里！第一篇為大家簡介古城歷史，帶大家看了大教堂、西門，第二篇帶大家走進石屎森林的草地公園。這次繼續帶大家參觀其他歷史遺跡。跟我走吧~~ (第2篇：「英國後花園」之城——坎特伯里 的交流生活 (2))

This is our final tour to Canterbury the city of the Kent County - ‘the Backyard of the United Kingdom’! In the first blog, I introduced the history of this ancient city and showed you the Canterbury Cathedral and Westgate. In the second blog, I showed you the beautiful garden in the concrete jungle. 這個美麗的公園真的很大，另一邊可以通往我喜歡的平價德國超巿 Aldi！我好想你！

Beautiful as it is, the garden is huge, there’s a way leading to my beloved German supermarket - Aldi! Ich vermisse dich sehr (German: I miss you so much)! 

那天順道去到坎特伯里另一個名勝古蹟——坎特伯里城堡。這個石堡約建於1086年，後來在13世紀淪為監獄。走近遺址，只看到歷史的殘骸，這些石礫經不起歲月的洗刷。

Visited another historical heritage of Canterbury that day - Canterbury Castle. The stone castle was built in 1086, became a prison in the 13th century. Could see its ruins when getting closer. The gravel could not resist ageing.

沒有機會進內看。

Missed the opportunity to visit inside.

旅程最後一站來到了Dane John 公園，倚城牆而建，曾經是羅馬人的陵園，十一世紀為城堡。

Our final destination is Dane John Gardens. It was built along the city wall, had once been a graveyard of the Romans, and a castle in the 11th century.

在城牆上眺望公園的草坪，長期被踐踏而變得略為光禿。

Overlooked the grassland of the Gardens from the city wall path. Slightly bald due to trampling over time.

一座座城塔，不知今年多少歲？

Wall towers. Wonder how old they are?

看到下方的小遊樂場，也是別樹一幟的趣味設計，以城堡為主題。迷宮牆的高度顧及了家長的需要，讓他們可以看顧玩耍中的孩子。

Saw the little playground underneath, another creative and interesting design. It is themed as a stronghold. Height of the walls of the maze satisfies needs of parents who are able to look after their playing children.

走上這個最高峰的小山丘俯瞰城市的美景，當年城堡是建在斯地，在羅馬人的墓地上頭。

Climbed to the highest peak of the Gardens and surveyed the whole city. The peak was once where the castle was built, above the graveyard of the Romans.

城牆連接一條行人天橋，通往坎特伯里東火車站。

A footbridge links to the walls, it leads to Canterbury East Station.

城牆的外圍是這樣的。

The exterior of city wall looks like this.

Dane John 公園有時也會在周末舉辦戶外活動，之前碰上了音樂節，熱鬧得很。

Outdoor activities are sometimes held in the Dane John Gardens. Came across a music festival last time, crowded and lively.

花園裡的花圃，繁花似錦。

Flower beds in the garden, plenty of colourful flowers.

遊人就這樣躺在草地上曬日光浴。

Tourists just lied down on the grassland and enjoyed sunbathing.

走了整天好累啊！是時候踏上歸途。帶大家走這條小徑，我喜歡杳無人煙的寧靜感。

Fatigued for walking all day long! Time to go home. Let me lead you to walk this path. I like the sense of tranquility.

「極狹，纔通人；復行數十步，豁然開朗。」形容尋覓「桃花源」的一句也挺反映我走這段路的感受。每次走到路口，左轉就有一個綠油油的草原向我熱烈揮手，給我一個歡迎的擁抱！這段路總是令我忘憂的。

Everytime when I reached the junction, I turned left and saw a grassland waving hands to me with excitement, giving me a welcoming hug! This route always enabled me to throw away my troubles.

大自然孕育萬物，是生命的泉源，靈魂的根部。它給予我歸屬感，像歸家般親切純粹。

The nature breeds all creatures, as the source of lives, the root of souls. It gives me a sense of belonging, and feels like home to me, warm and pure.
