A very interesting post. The general trend is increasingly tilted towards paying small amounts for contributions. How well Steemit will bare up to the competition will be interesting to see. Steemit operates on the premise of providing a voice for all, although the current weighted voting system seems to dissuade newcomers. The current aristocratic whales versus peasant minnows is increasingly raising comment, and underlies the abandonment of the platform by a large number of newcomers. Posts focused on voting battles, bot voting, and gild formation, are appearing with increasing frequency.
