I feel this way whenever I'm playing boardgames with my friends. We have a particular one called "Dead of Winter" that is an incredibly intense experience. Morale can change on a whim, and it really challenges your sense of trust and decision making. Every time we play its such an awesome experience; win or lose.
Sometimes the convenience of things ends up dulling the feelings it's meant to facilitate. Technology is awesome, but there's something to be said about sharing a room, a space, and an energy.
