Writing good content and, because there is more than crypto, I resteemded the post of look4balance

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Fortunately, there are quite a few people who know about crypto on Steemit. One of them is my own son @exyle, but I also read posts from other connoisseurs like @aggroed, @haejin, @nanzo-scoop to name a few in alphabetic order.

There are fewer posts about fiat and investing in fiat. That's why I resteemed the second post ever of my eldest son @look4balance. He just became a member of this great community, thanks to his brother @exyle. But you know already all about this miracle.

Two pictures of @look4balance, two times with his favorite hobby in the time before he had two daughters of his own (lol) and he had time to go snowboarding and to read.

@countrygirl wrote a couple of days ago how she loved me being unashamedly proud of my family.
I am that's for sure, but it won't become my habit to resteem every post my eldest son makes, just because I love him and he is new on Steemit. He has to find his own way on Steemit, just like @exyle did more than 19 moons ago!

But this time I did, because as I explained in the first sentences of this post, there are not so many people on Steemit (maybe there are, but don't I know them yet) who are experts at investing in fiat, but as an investment banker and after that as a fund manager of a fund of over € 500 million, he is! I think the Steemit community can benefit from his posts, as we all do from the blogs and vlogs from @exyle.

That brings me to the subject 'content'. Slowly but surely I am getting to know more and more people on Steemit. And also slowly but surely Steemit becomes more than a hobby, it becomes almost work. And don't get me wrong, I loved my work, as a history teacher and as a principal, so the comparison is a compliment. I even dream of things I read on Steemit, for example, I dreamed about the follow-up story of Johnjgeddes "Her Thirties", maybe because I love stories that happened in the past. I also dreamed about the questions @tarazkp raises in his posts, the beautiful photographs of @rea f.e. the photo's she made in Paris (because I love that city)! I hope to read and write good content in the coming weeks.

Sunday we move from Rotterdam to the Morvan (Burgundy France) for approximately 6 or 7 weeks. I hope to post from there some beautiful pictures of the beautiful surroundings. Even, or just, in the winter you can make special pictures.

I wish you all a good weekend, especially @exyle, @bkdbkd, @ezzy, @rea who have a good time in London and had the opportunity to discuss crypto and Steemit with @nanzo-scoop during dinner.

I think I am not the only one who had wanted to be there also!!

Have a nice day.

This platform has given everybody the freedom to write whatever they are good at, it's not all about crypto but writing good quality content and getting involved with the followers, may make us succeed on this platform. Looking forward for amazing content from @look4balance , just followed him. I am very sure that he will keep up with the family tradition of writing great content.

Yes, I am also sure he will keep up with the family tradition! He has a busy job, so he will not post as much as @exyle, but I'm sure his content will be very good.

Wow great job, I feel very happy that steemit becomes your job now, yes friend it's become addiction for me. I love to share my thoughts and feelings to the people. You are a genius person and a very Happy and blessed mother. By joining your elder son @lookforbalance your whole family become steemit family. It's a wonderful and very important news for all of us. Thanks for sharing such nice post friend, enjoy your time.

Thank you, Maya, I am really a happy and blessed mother. It's so nice to be a Steemit mom.
I accidentally wrote lookforbalance, but it is @look4balance!

Happy moving day tomorrow @clio!! Lovely blog again today - it's like having a little chat at a sunny cafe somewhere (in France of course)!!

I thought about what you said and I think you hit the nail on the head (as we say in Holland).
That's what I do, having a little chat at a sunny cafe. There are people, like you, who come and sit with me, and I visit them also. So Steemit has different meanings for different people. But we all like Steemit very much and love to be there. Maybe a subject for one of my next posts.

That will be a crypto dinner there for sure haha! But true, there is sooo much more in life than crypto. We had a dramatic day here today, one of those that make you realise you have to cherish every single second of life

Every time you experience something dramatic, you realize that there are important and less important things in your life or in the world. Please cherish every single day and love your loved ones.
I don't know what happened but I wish you strength.

Thank you for the good memories and the smile on my face! Big hug.

You now also build good invaluable memories!! Big hug for you and your girls!

I agree with @countrygirl that you should be very proud of your family - a History teacher! No wonder you dreamt about my story, lol - I still dream about my fellow teachers but never dreamt about anyone on steemit until the other night when I dreamt about @creatr (I haven't told him yet, and can't recall much, but it means he's not just virtual for me - and that's amazing considering that he uses a pseudonym and an avatar) I suppose our souls communicate via the ether on steemit :)

Yes, I was a history teacher and I loved being that. After 25 years I thought I could serve students and teacher more by becoming a principal at the same school. I was a principal for 15 years, so in total 40 years in education. My working life in two sentences. Even as a young girl I loved historical novels and your story started just like such a novel. Maybe that's why I dreamt about your story.

Wow! @clio.. you have an amazing family im this community supporting each others back. And with all the tags, it seems that you have already made alot here.. following your family and friends already to learn more as a minnow here in steemit. Good thing I read your post. And by the way, I like your presence as a loving mom to @look4balance and @exile..

Thank you so much @davinsh, I know you will learn a lot here on Steemit and won't be a minnow for long!!
But it takes a lot of effort to keep reading and to write. Good luck to you.

Congrats. I enjoy following your family and appreciate you sharing them with us. I just convinced my oldest daughter to join Steemit as well. She’s going to blog her move to New York City. It’s a win win for mom :) Blessings

That is great! Yes, we mom's lead the way (lol). Good luck to you and your daughter.

Ma'am you should be proud of your family really, I would be proud of them too. I must confess I wish I had a family where everyone is inclined to business. And I'm using this medium to welcome your first son to the steem world. I'm a lover of @exyle's blog even though he doesn't know about it actually. 😀 you're an inspiration ma'am and a model for Evey mom @clio. Tried following @lookforbalance but his page isn't opening
