MISS COMMUNICATION

My mom came home from paying her bills and told me she had called the police and made a report because someone was threatening her life.  She had gotten a text which stated,"your about to lose your life you little bitch." The police took this as a serious threat and since the text had the phone number attached we gave it to the police.  My mom's boyfriend called the number and found out a teen girl sent the message and that she had sent it to the wrong number.  After he talked to her and her mother she texted my mother and apologized but I am concerned that someone would send anyone such a text. Hopefully the police will take this seriously, what she did was a crime and what she said was just disturbing. This is far from a teen prank, bullying should be stopped and murder is unacceptable.  Hope this kid gets the help she needs.  What do you think of this situation?
