I'm all keyed up for following series. This is my first fiction attempt in English. Hope you find them joyful.
Let me give some foreseen info. Story takes it's place in Turkey, early 2000's. Our main character, Yavuz, begins the highschool. He wins a highschool away from his home city, so he fall apart from his family and try to yield new conditions. But everything is utterly different from past.
-Take care my dear. Work hard and call me every day!
This is the first farewell of Yavuz to his parents. He is totally dumbfounded. A different city, different school, different faces, different traditions... Everything familiar is 1000 kms away. And now mother waving while passing through main gate. He would find some comfort if he knows that his mother will say "i wouldn't leave my descend if i knew then what i know now" 10 years later.
He attend others lining up in front of principal's dais. There is too many different and alien faces. When the principal's speech turned into any principal's speech, he started to examine those faces. Pimpled, lopsided, oily, displeased faces. Some lambency, some moronity amongst them. Some crafty, some chump as well. And no salient beauty so far.
-Oh, what am i going to do with them...
He was never been chatty. He always thought that 3 solid friend is enough to live. But he was seperated from them right now. And wasn't know how to start new friendship at all. Actually, he wasn't know if he want to start new ones or not. He wasn't click on someone so far. And noone wasn't seem to be aware of him.
He got inside of the school in the line while thinking of these. Everyone was trying to find their names on the class list on the wall. He saw his name under 9-A class askant. Then directly walked to find his class. After few collides and desk pick, he finally find his comfort in his new place: Middle line, 2nd desk from the end. A good spot in some ways. At least it's away from curious eyes.
Yavuz was thinking about his oncoming life consistently. His young head couldn't clutch the idea behind leaving a 14 year old boy to a distant city in name of education. He was feeling that an orchard grass come between him and his family, named highschool. His head was full of that kind of worries and he didn't noticed that a teacher came into class.
Oh, that teacher. He should be introduced. He is a former boxer, a former trucker, a former stallholder and currently he is a mathematician. Yes, maths! Hatred maths teaching by a man like him, Burhan! He is also the most bully human being in the school. Once he finds your weakness or circumvent, he keeps harping on it.
Well, that man was in the classroom but Yavuz wasn't awared of him. He was still thinking about his oncoming life. Until his cellphone rang up. Dead silence in classroom has interrupted by his phone. The worst part is, it was ringing an old movie's favorite catchword told by a dolmush adjutant in Cicek Abbas movie; "Aksaray, Aksaray, Aksaray bir iki, Aksaray".
Yavuz get goose bumps. He wished the ground would swallow him up. But his journey had just began and that "Aksaray" call would have throw him in lap of different adventures.
An "Aksaray" shout echoed in the classroom after Yavuz shut the phone. It was Burhan. "Aksaray, come here and bring your phony phone either."
