THE POWER OF WORDS

Words are wonderful tools; it can make or mar someone. What type of words do we say to people? Do we speak the right words; the types of words that will develop his/her mind set and make him/her think better? Or the wrong words that will weaken a soul and make a person look like a failure?
Most times we hardly use the right word, when a person is well dressed we hardly commend the person, or when a person is doing greatly or does his work well we don’t tell him that he did well, but when a person makes a mistake or does not do things the right way we are very quick to say it or scold the person, it is known praise is hard to come by but rebuke is easily said.
I have come to discover that words are powerful and sometimes using the right words at the right time and in the right degree can uplift the soul, I guess for most people any time they are praised it will surely put on a smile on their face, in my local palace its said if a child is at work and you praise him, he will get strength to do the same again , words have stop wars, it has also started relationship it has helped to build, “words heals”. This is to show how powerful words are.
Most times we use the wrong words, and sometimes or most times this words destroy the soul of a man, it can make man to think of the reason why he was born, we have seen how words can destroy relationship, start wars, we have seen how words have caused the death of people, with just a word a country can be destroyed, with just a word man can be destroyed , this is to show how powerful words are.
The questions to ask, do we want to kill or save, destroy or heal, Make someone happy or sad, cause a smile or a frown on the face? These questions we should ask ourselves always when we want to speak.
Let try our best to say right and good words always, lets praise more, lets bless more, life as I see it tells me that if we do such more often it can bring peace to the heart of man, it will make man feel important, I know the common norm around is to wait for someone to die before we say those good words that can make a black day go white, but I do wonder why we never say good words to people until they die.
Put a smile of positives words in the face of anybody you meet.
