BE SAFE!: DURING FLOOD SEASON (RAINY SEASON)

^{It’s rainy day here in Sabah. I been watching the news feed and I notice that the area of Penampang have been flooded. I thought maybe it is something to do with the drainage system of the area or maybe blockage that caused by people littering their litter everywhere. But it is too late now to talk about it because flood already happen. Therefore, here’s a few safety precaution that we can take.}

For safety from any danger from the flood itself, you have to go to highest ground to make sure that you would not get any harm because we do not know what contain in the flood. It could have been a dangerous animal or maybe venomous animal such as, crocodile or maybe poisonous snake. Other than that, do not walk through moving water, especially 6 inches of moving water because it could knock you off your feet.

This is important for your safety because you do not want to get electric shock. I am no science expert or any of the fields but all I know is that when electricity meets water, it can travel through all the ions in the water and through your body. Imagine that much of power hit your body. You might end up waking in the hospital if you are lucky enough. The thing is, if your area is flooded, expert suggested you to evacuate your house or that area.

Logically thinking, it is really really really not safe driving your car through the flood. Please do not do this, please remember your love ones. They need you. If your car stuck, abandon it immediately and seek an alternate route.

^{All I wanted to say is that you should take care of yourself, safety is the most important. Few ways we can prevent flood from happening is, throw your rubbish into the bin. Other precautions that you can take are the supply of food and drinking water, make sure you have them. And oh yahh, do not forget about candles.}
