This is a very thoughtful post. I especially liked your first point: "Overnight success, in life or Steemit, is rare and irrational."
It's hard to be patient! But it is so vital to wait and continue to work towards good things.
When you hit a rough patch in life, or things don't go to plan, or rewards don't come quickly, it's so easy to get frustrated.
To be honest, I needed to hear this today. It has been a rough day, and I want the bad times to pass. But I know I have to be patient, and give it some time.

I take great pleasure in the fact that my post has timely helped you. It's true that patience is a difficult virtue. It's also true that frustrations are part of any journey. But it is our mindset towards frustrations which matters the most.
When we have a rough day, it's hard to go through it. Invariably, our expectations cause us to react negatively. Whenever you do not receive enough reward, increase the effort and come again. You will succeed.
