Swift and Quick
Swift and Quick
I try not weep for your death-
quick and swift so I trust in God,
but the absence of your presence
replaced with memories plastered on walls-
however brief the glance,
jabs at our sorrow sealed behind closed doors
Your face I see and dream of days passed,
a pain that can only be dulled with time
Never hold your tongue, never be afraid to voice your feelings. You might find the opportunity plucked right from under your feet. If you love someone let them know, if you care for them, let them know. Share things with them- your joys, your sorrow, your fears, your hatred. Life is sometimes cruel. Don't let petty things get in the way and allow regret to sink in when it's already too late. This post is a bit more serious than my previous one, but these are feelings that I have to endure on a daily basis, and I just want to scream at people when they ignore family members or refuse to talk to them. Whatever grievances you have, put them aside. As I said, life is too short for petty little things...

Life is definitely to short to get hung up on things. There is a saying: Holding a grudge is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.
