Today, My Heart Will Go To Church For The First Time In A Long While.
Today, for the first time in a long while, I will let my heart go to church. My heart hasn't been there for a while. Every other part of my body has been frequent in the Lord's house but not this heart of mine.
I've been mad with God for so long. With the few pockets of the personal tragedies that life has flung towards me, I have become a bit hostile to piety. I'm almost on the verge of not believing in anything(even when I'm certain of the existence such things).
My faith has been greatly shaken. I have given anger and doubt some portion of my life lately. But today, I woke up feeling different. I have been having sober reflections over my life. It is time for an improved piety.
So, today, I will let my heart attend church. I will get it to listen to the sermon, carefully, attentively. Once again, I want to feel, the inner peace that can only be found in the Lord.
I'm learning to be thankful. Just to breath and keep being thankful. For life. For everything. I'm thankful. God over everything.
