LIFE,DEATH AND RELIGION!
Life is not measured by the years you have lived
But by the love you gave and the good you did.
Life is a mystery, a lonely existence but shared with many along the way.
There are no clear answers for where we came from, why we are here and where we are going,
but that doesn't stop people from believing in religion, I suppose it’s a form of hope that their life is not completely meaningless but if you ask me I believe it’s that they are afraid of death. From what we know when death smiles at you all you can do is smile right back. 😊
I am not religious, and I'm surprised by just how many people in the world especially well educated, intellectual individuals can believe in something so deeply without any solid proof. Perhaps they were brainwashed by their religious parents from a young age and are finding it difficult to see the light. The world is full of gullible souls, but I suppose religion does have its benefits it brings communities together, helps people less fortunate and offers a place for people to get together and talk about their issues. So, it’s not all bad I guess but you won’t catch me waking up on a Sunday morning going down to the local church or praying 5 times a day into the sunset.
But just because I do not believe in something doesn’t mean I do not have respect for people that do believe. Just so long as you are a good listener and not forceful with your beliefs. I may not understand or believe in Religion, but I do have respect for certain aspects such as when people decide to fast as to understand what other people less fortunate are going through. But are they doing it only to follow the belief of gaining entry through the gates and into the afterlife?
The fear of death is strong amongst us but when death comes for you I’m afraid there’s not a lot you can do about it, only to accept it. That might explain why most of the places of worship are full of the elderly hoping for one last chance at redemption perhaps.
From what I have been reading Religion and money have a lot in common. So, no surprises there.

Nice post, and I agree and must say that escaping death only suppresses life, this is only done out of pure fear and egoism. An enlightened mind knows life and death is nor end or beginning, neither anything to fear :)
