How to Read the Tarot - The World – You Have Graduated! Interpreted by C. Smith-Rea aka Goddess HU
As a tarot card reader oftentimes, I find a recurring theme for several of my clients during the week, and sometimes an entire month. When the same card appears for so many different people across the land and in other countries, I take note. I take note because what this card is saying for so many is very important. Therefore, if you are one of the many who find The World card in your tarot readings, whether you are a reader or a querent, you are now about to receive great news.
The World represents your very own personal harvest from all the accumulated work that you have performed up to this point. Whether it's completing a course, getting a new job, reaching a weight goal, putting together a new team, planning a wedding, whatever it is, your part is done and finished. And, you are about to get PAID!
Not only is The World a card of successful endings, but it is also a card for new beginnings as well. The World is the card of the graduating student who has now become the practicing professional or the builder who has finally finished building on the new housing development. The World reminds you that you had all the resources you ever needed to make something good happen for yourself. The work you have done was not the easiest. There were delays, obstacles, problematic people and more. Yet you kept plugging away until you got the job done. With all that hardship, you were still blessed with perfect timing, the right place, and the right skills. And you used those blessings wisely. Now you can sit back and enjoy your harvest until the next project.
For those truly adventurous souls, The World card also indicates international travel, work or taking up international residence. If you applied, you may have been selected to take a sabbatical at an international university. Or, you feel that now is the time to participate in that study on shamanism in the jungles of Ecuador that you have been dreaming about. Or, on a whim, you applied for a job in Scotland after watching a few episodes of The Outlander and got hired for a position with the City of Edinburgh. Or, while vacationing in the South Pacific, you decide to stay and buy a new home in Fiji. When The World card appears in the reading of a risk-taker it is saying “Now is the time to make that move or take that flight to a land far, far away. The world is your oyster! Crack it open and swallow it raw!" You are free to add your own hot sauce. This is the energy of The World.
