Local Farmers Market
Sunny day all you beautiful Steemians,
This past weekend was excellent reconnecting with locally grown foods. It began Saturday with a bike ride to the local farmers market.
Farmers' Markets are special. You feel a sense of connection and gratitude towards the farmers who are dedicating their livelihoods to producing quality, natural foods. Everybody's spirits are high because people understand that the food options in front of them are the healthiest options available aside from one's personal garden.
Looks like my backpack gained some fresh flow. You can thank that massive $3 organic celery bundle for that. I've been juicing the celery to start my days, rebuilding quality stomach acid and balancing the ph for the start of the day. Along with the celery we purchased red bell pepper, yellow zucchini, cucumbers, peaches, jalapeno peppers, tomato, corn, concord grapes, and awesome peach/black bean and corn salsas. The CONCORD GRAPES ARE UNREAL. They have a sour zip accompanied by a blissful sweetness. They have 2-3 little seeds inside when comforts me knowing the food source is natural enough to reproduce on its own.
I also had an herbal tea later in the day. Shout out to Yogi Tea who always has a nice message on the tea bag :)
Stay lovely and positive everyone,
Captain Pearson
