I think a big part of it is that even if people start out sharing their vote and all that they kind of see some other people being greedy and then they justify it in their mind that it doesn't matter because everyone else is doing it. Then on top of that some people have powered up a lot of money from the outside and feel like they have to make that money back. I powered up a lot and it worked out for a couple of weeks when the price spiked but then now I feel like I have a decent amount sunk in here and everyone else is delegating their power to bots and being stingy so it feels like the only way I can get back on track is cut almost everyone off and just upvote myself. So I get the business type feeling to it.
But yeah..... when the money is rolling in people are lose with it. Like a 22 year old who just signed an NFL contract. lol Then when the money isn't there anymore they clinch up real hard.
