Today, I want to share with you - my emotions and mood . Which I got from a trip to Dubai last year.

1 - Laws .
The UAE penal code is not based strictly on Islamic Sharia, but derives elements from it. Sharia law does exist in the UAE but is only used in specific circumstances, such as in the payment of blood money. Individual emirates have also suspended some Sharia punishments such as flogging, replacing them with jail terms.
Islam being the official religion of the UAE, some simple rules are followed in order to show respect and avoid misunderstandings, states the Code of Conduct.
Holding hands may be OK, but kissing and petting is not.
In public places, guidelines say shorts and skirts need to be of appropriate length not to indecently expose parts of the body, be transparent, or display obscene or offensive pictures and slogans. On beaches rules are more lenient; swimwear is accepted but should be appropriate. Top-less sunbathing or the wearing of a thong is not allowed.
While alcohol is served in some hotels and sold in a few designated stores, it may generally only be purchased by people who hold a liquor license. Yes. A personal liquor license.
People who consume or possess alcohol are required to have a Ministry of Interior liquor permit or they may face arrest, fines and possible imprisonment. Yes, alcohol is served in most major hotel bars, but technically that's only for guests of the hotel. People who consume alcohol in a hotel who aren't staying there are required to have their own personal liquor license.

The first two are very close to the water but the minus is not a convenient location for travelers who love to walk.
Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa Dubai 5 stars Best hotel
If you're looking for a cheap hotel this is the best of the best. At last the perfect accommodation but one drawback to the water to go far.
3 - Food
In the local shops, the price is much cheaper than you buy it at the hotel.

I think flogging effectively corrects the offender.
Yes, all in a child flogged. :) There are more states that the laws of Dubai are from the old laws Sharia.
