Hey @bleujay, very good principle and perfectly reflect human nature, even though we all have emotions some people can not hold them in and we see those fire and flame emotions, but some people you can say they always calm but their explosions happens inside of them, like my mother says let it out otherwise it makes you sick. Because of that wonderful ability to express emotion and passion I love human being, I love to observe people and sometimes think how boring it would be if we would not have emotions or could be like Vulcanians in Star Trek.
You have beautiful pansies and the colors are so intense, by the why it is funny but in German we call pansy "Stiefmütterchen" that means "Little Stepmother", I do not know if you knew that.
That is because the large lower petal is the mother, the two large petals to either side of her are the well-dressed daughters, and the two small upper petals are the poor stepdaughters.

It will be good at times to go with the flow of your emotions rather than always trying to be practical and rationale. Your gut will most of the time take you in the right direction.

Great principle as always. The flip side to letting emotions rule, is letting the rational mind rule and muting the emotions. I think we need a balance of both. Sometimes a rational mind is necessary in some situations but a balance is good.
Emotions are too fleeting to be ruled by them.
