Human Attraction
I am not easily attracted to people but as you get older and you meet different people you come across a little word that can mean so many things, because it can be so many things. That little word is ‘attraction’. When do you feel attracted to someone or better what attraction do you feel and what does that mean to you?
For me there are at least 4 different attractions you can feel towards someone.
1. Intellectual attraction
This is when you feel a spiritual, mental connection towards the other person. Whether it is something you have in common or you are intellectual on one level. For that you obviously have to have communicated with that person in some way, be it face-to-face, phone or in writing.
2. Physical attraction
This attraction is when you feel attracted to someone just by looking at them, the way they look – their face structure, body shape, hair color and sometimes maybe the way they dress. This is normally where ‘Your Type’ comes in. Whether you fancy, tall or tiny, blond or ginger whatever physical attribute it is you feel attracted to.
3. Sensual attraction
This one is not the same as sexual, even though sexual attraction doesn’t exist without sensual attraction – in my opinion. This type of attraction is about your senses, particularly about touching. Some people that I feel sensually attracted to I want to touch, be it on the arm or the shoulder – any physical connection that is not sexual.
4. Sexual attraction
Sexual attraction, as already mentioned, is sensual attraction but in a more heightened way. Sexual without sensual would work – it is basically the attraction when you want to touch that person (everywhere and anywhere), kiss them and basically have sex with them.
5. Romantic attraction
You could say there is a 5th one, the romantic attraction which combines at least physical and sexual attraction (sexual includes sensual). But I would say without the intellectual attraction any romantic relationship would not last long. I guess here is where love comes in, at some stage.
I have no idea whether this can be scientifically proven, it's just my opinion on it.
I would love to hear your thoughts on it :) If you liked it Upvote and Resteem
Wonderful article! I suggest avoiding the word "and" in the beginning of a sentence. Lovely subject and easy to read 😊
Thank you! Much appreciated 😊
You can count on me to give honest opinion. Seriously, I liked it so much I shared on my other social medias.
