To give and recieve love

In the '70s Burt Bacharach and Hal Davis wrote a song entitled, "what the World Needs Now. . . is Love, Sweet Love, " though it was not very clear whether love involed commitment or closeness.

The late psychiatrist Karl Menninger a man for whom i have a great deal of respect as a profesional declared, Love is the medicine for the sickeness of the world." His colleague Eric Fromm, an often-quoted psychologist, believes that loneliness and the inability to love are the underlying causes of both psychic and emotional disorders. "Theres comes a time in the development of every person, " says medical doctor Dr. joshua Liebman in his book, Peace of Mind, "when he must love his neighbor or become a twisted, stuned personality." "OK," you say, "We agree that love is important not necessarily married lovr, or sexual love, but the kind that provides glur for relationships. But you still haven't defined what is love." How would you defined it? "Well," you sat, "everybody knows what is love is. "Oh, yeah? When I ask an audience to defined love, you should hear the "Well, Love is. . . . well, everybody knows what it is" kind of answer. The fact of the matter is that a lot of men is like nailing jello to the wall it isn't easily done.
