The Worst Spanking (Flogging) I Ever Received

As a child, I remembered taking toilet tissue to school without my parents’ permission. On getting to school, I was ready to bring out my share of tissue paper as was required of pupils every new session.
But something stopped me in my track. It was the complaint of my mum to the teachers in school about the missing tissue.
Perhaps you’re wondering,” how come the complaint?”

Ya! For those who can figure it out, my mum was a teacher of the school.
So on hearing her complain, I quickly resigned the thought of submitting the tissue to my class teacher.

And the class teaching continued.

However, mid way into the lecture one of classmates complained about a missing item. I can’t remember the exact item as this incident is over 2 decades old –this lead to a sequence of event that I will never forget in my life.
My class teacher then embarked on a search. He took time to search each tables called “lockers.”
As he moved from table to table, I was gripped with entrenched fear -praying earnestly that magically he would stop the search.
But the search continued.

Finally, my teacher nicknamed Mr. Massatuset stood beside me, took the bag from my fidgeting hands and opened my bag. And that was how he saw the item my mum had complained of.

That day, two STRONG teachers grasped me by the hand and the legs. Yes! I was suspended mid air and given 24 lashes, 1 after the other, -kapai, kpai, kapai rented the air - the pain unbearable -hot cry emanated from the corner of my eyes –my nostril filled with dripping mucus as my wails transcended several classes turning my voice husky as I could cry no more. It was a day forever etched on my memory.

Today, I look magically at this past event asking you guys this question-“ is spanking necessary to train a child?”
Should it be use as a last resort when no other forms of punishment works?
