RE: Lessons from Nature ~ The Dog
I love and appreciate dogs soooo much. I worked and played with them my whole life. Years ago I worked with police and personal protection K9's as a professional aggitator. My wife says I still am. LOL
It's like being a stuntman in a padded suit. Climbing over fences, crawling through windows and all manner of acting like you're a threat or suspicious lurker. Great fun for me and the dogs while learning their trade.
haha, WOW, not quite sure I would want that side of the job, it must have been quite intimidating, I have seen quite a few of those shows and I vividly remember thinking every single time: "I am glad that I am not that guy...
At first look it is intimidating. After you realize, during training the dog is always on a leash with an expert handler in control. The dog and the handler know each other very well, revealing this situation not quite as scary as it first appears.
As an agitator wearing a padded suit and working the dog to develop its skills is actually great fun. Like a stuntman dog trainer. :)
Expertly trained dogs that descriminate and can descern an actual threat, be in high alert, off leash, and only attack when prompted bring high dollar as personal protection dogs.
There intelect never sieses to amaze me, and thank you for the great good that you have done for society by helping train these dogs
You're most welcome. Quite the adventure and learning experience too.
:D
