SOLUTION TO POVERTY IN ISLAM

in #life7 years ago

Poverty is lack of resources like money, foods, materials to live and many other aspects.

Prior to Islam there were so discrimination between Rich and poor but Islam has given so many rights, support and principles to end poverty in order to balance balance the society.

"Wealth is to serve useful purposes and not to be accumulated in a few hands "that it may not concentrate and circulate only among those of you who are rich"

- Quran 59:7

"In their wealth there is due share acknowledged by them for such as who ask (for help) and such as are deprived (of what is good in the life)."

- Quran 70:24

"So give his due share (haqq) to kinsman, and to the needy and to the homeless. That is best for those who seek ![231-quran-quotes-al-imran-03-130.png](the pleasure of Allah."

- Quran 30:38

How much to give out?

"They ask you as to how much they should give out. Say: 'The Surplus'" (Quran, 2:219).

"Take the surplus" (Quran 7:199).

WHAT IS SURPLUS?

Muslims are called “people of the middle path” (Quran 2:143). They should take care to maintain balance (Quran 55:8), which Allah has set in human nature and thus hold onto “balanced” and “median level”:

Once legitimate needs have been filled at a modest scale - no

extravagance is permitted - the rest is surplus. One should not suffer from poverty, nor indulge in luxury.

Spending out of what one has been given (Quran 2:3) in its

broader sense is the doing of good to mankind. In Islam service of mankind is service of Allah.

Sharing is the thing that makes life really worth living.

in this world of capitalism we all should do something to end the poverty, as there are so many people in the world died due to lack of food on daily basis and we should hep them.
