The day i forgot my wallet

Life here in Sydney is quite tough. I was getting late for my work didn't sleep last night because of the world cup 2018. As usual, doing the daily stuff I got out to catch the train. When I touched my back pocket my heart came into my mouth as my wallet was not in my pocket i forgot it into my drawer. I took chance and got on the train without tapping in because I was already late for my work. In peak time transport officer often check the Opal card for payment and today was not the exception. As my turn was coming closer to show the opal card I was getting nervous as what to say it's my fault to get in without tapping in. Finally, my turn came it was a nightmare day and at the end, I have to pay fine of 200 dollars. Surely, i will not do this again in my life.

I want to know what you guys have done if you ever would be in my situation . Please comment!!
