Here, Have A Drink (Original Work)
Good Morning Sunday...
FATHER thank You for this NEW DAY. We ask that you cover us with YOUR MIGHTY HAND. Let us understand YOUR MIGHTY WILL so that we may see YOUR INFINITE GLORY. We ask this in YOUR PERFECT SON YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's NAME, Amen.
-Here, Have A Drink
Do you feel a little empty? Parched? Dry? Well, it just so happens Our Father Has Just The Cure. He Penned It "Washing Of Water By The Word." Take a deep breath. Sit back and relax. And... Have A Drink
1.) The Word (Yeshua, Jesus) Is The Water And Produces Water That Not Only Lives, But Also Flows Like A River. It's Very Clean And Good To Drink Straight From The Source:
“On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.””
John 7:37-38
2.) Peter's Water Was Washed With The Word (Yeshua, Jesus). Then He Was Was Washed By The Word, With Water. All While He Drank The Water Straight From The Source. At First Peter Denied The Water Washing, But When Yeshua Told Him He Couldn't Have Any More Water Or Bread If He Didn't Let The Word Wash Him... He Begged For Extra Washing!:
"Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.” Peter said to Him, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!””
John 13:7-9
3.) The Word (Yeshua, Jesus) Washes The Church Waters:
"that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,”
Ephesians 5:26
4.) Don't Make The Mistake Of Forsaking The Word (Yeshua, Jesus), For He Is The Fountain Of Living Water:
“O LORD, the hope of Israel, All who forsake You shall be ashamed. “Those who depart from Me Shall be written in the earth, Because they have forsaken the LORD, The fountain of living waters.””
Jeremiah 17:13
5.) Remember, Others Are Thirsty Too, So Share Your Drink. You Never Know Who May Need Some:
"Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.””
John 4:10
"Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.””
John 4:13-14
"Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;”
Matthew 25:34-35
6.) The Word Gives Water To Us All Individually Where We Are. Always Make Sure You Bring Your Canteen and That Your Well Is Easily Accessible:
"Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.”
Proverbs 5:15
7.) Now That You Have Quenched Your Thirst... Make Sure And Share Some Bread, Fruit, And Water With Another. It May Be Someone Who Hasn't Ever Had Good Fruit, Living Bread, And Water From The Word (Yeshua, Jesus). They May Have Been Drinking Bad Water, Bad Fruit, And Rotten Bread From The World That Has Made Them Sick. They May Need To Be Refreshed And Strengthened. Then, You Never Know... They May Be Able To Help You With A Problem You Have Been Dealing With. It Worked For David:
"Then they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David; and they gave him bread and he ate, and they let him drink water. And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs and two clusters of raisins. So when he had eaten, his strength came back to him; for he had eaten no bread nor drunk water for three days and three nights. Then David said to him, “To whom do you belong, and where are you from?” And he said, “I am a young man from Egypt, servant of an Amalekite; and my master left me behind, because three days ago I fell sick. We made an invasion of the southern area of the Cherethites, in the territory which belongs to Judah, and of the southern area of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.” And David said to him, “Can you take me down to this troop?” So he said, “Swear to me by God that you will neither kill me nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will take you down to this troop.” And when he had brought him down, there they were, spread out over all the land, eating and drinking and dancing, because of all the great spoil which they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah. Then David attacked them from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled. So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.”
I Samuel 30:11-19
I pray that each and every one of you on the other side of this screen have a Great, God-Blessed Week. Shalom everybody and make sure to stay hydrated out there! 💦🍞🙌
