I don't consider a million rich. At this point, that would give you a nice retirement. But would it be able to last possibly 30 years of retirement? With inflation or other issues that arise?
I would say a million for new people in the work force would not be hard to achieve, depending on career choice and spending habits.
I feel rich is the idea of not having to worry much about money. You could comfortably make it through retirement easily.... and be able to buy many things others wouldn't be able to do as they budget hard.
