It has been ages since I experienced a black-out of electricity... they used to be common in Perth, Australia when I was growing up... and it was kind of fun to break out the candles and everything!
... these days, I have a portable solar panel that can charge powerbanks and phones... I hate to have the lack of power! However, there rarely is any need for it these days... it's mostly for camping!
I guess electricity outages are common everywhere when technology isn't that good yet...but see, now you have portable solar panels! I wonder where can I get one too, lol. Must be good to save on the energy used by my phone, I mean, I don't use it a lot, but every little bit of energy counts!
