I finally started writing my book!
I could call it as an achievement to start writing the introduction of my book. Why? It is only the intro, I'm not finish it yet. How come I call such a thing as an achievement? Here's why.
It took me almost a week just to start. The idea has came to write last week, I wrote about it a few days ago in my previous post. At that time, I didn't start anything yet. Only two days after, I began to do a mind map brainstorming about what I'm going to write.
The process is so challenging for me as I have to stay focus. Luckily, my ADHD didn't hit me as much as when I try to complete writing my final year project. Maybe because this is something I really wanted to do. Just sometimes, my head stuck. There was a time when there's too many idea in my brain but when I try to jot down, I forgot! That's the biggest challenge.
After finishing the brainstorming process, I couldn't directly start my writing. I don't know why I feel too lazy to turn on my computer to write. And there were sometimes that I really wanted to write, I forgot what to write. And the other times, when I'm fully ready, there was something else to interrupt me.
But today, I tried my best to give my best and quality time to write up something. And guess what, I have wrote 6 pages today. Nothing special but it is impressive for me. It such a hard time to start it and I don't know when I could finish the whole book. Will it take a year? Or maybe more? I hope not. I shouldn't stop in a halfway.
I need some motivation. Anyone here is a book writer? How many book have you got published? How you did that? What's your biggest challenge and how you face it? Can anyone give me some tips and advice? Wish me luck guys. Thanks for reading :)
