What a big heart you have friend, it's seems she's more family than a lodger now. I raised my niece from when she was 15 to 26, I was a child myself but no way would I let my family out in the street. Her mother dropped her off literally on my doorstep at 5 am because she wouldn't succumb to her controlling religion. My niece is now a happily married mother of 1 and an RN! I am so proud of my girl!
