weird

it’s one of the weirdest things that’s happened to me this last month.
also one of the nicest.

for me, it’s weird having someone that won’t cancel plans; someone to call or text at any hour and actually be there; even when you’re very drunk at a subway station and it’s 5am.
it’s weird for me that someone wants to invite me to dinner and pay for everything; including dessert.
it’s weird for me that someone feels nervous for not knowing if i’ll like the consistency of a brownie in a place i’ve never even been before.
it’s weird for me that someone understands my jokes and references without having to ask anything or fake it.
it’s weird for me experiencing an extremely drunk encounter and not regretting it for one bit when sober.
it’s weird for me remembering that kiss as a blur, though.
it’s weird for me trying to understand whatever this is; even though it might mean nothing later on.
but it’s weird for me feeling that it actually means something.
it’s weird for me being aware of the fact that someone knows things about me that no one else does; even though we basically don't know each other.
it’s weird for me not having the need of hiding sides of myself.
it’s weird for me having to deal with someone as weird as you.
it’s weird for me knowing you’re actually just as weird as me.
and to be completely honest, i like this very weird thing.
