SAPIOSEXUALS- MY INTERACTION WITH @BOOKOONS

Hi, steemit community, so I had a conversation with an awesome individual (@bookoons) on whatsapp, who happens to be part of this great community too, and I decided to shear it here.

First I'll define the above term;

As defined by Urban Dictionary, a sapiosexual person is someone who finds intelligence and the human mind to be the most sexually attractive feature for a potential sexual relationship. The origin of the word comes from the term "sapiens," which means wise or judicious, as well as the word "sexual."

so her point was that women do not need to always expose their body to attract men, that some men are sapiosexuals. That was when our conversation started:

Bookoons: sexy doesn't mean beign naked ladies, some men are attracted by intelligence.

Me: but intelligence is not as loud as looks.
I have met many girls though, can't tell which characteristic I could call intelligent

Bookoons:Oh. I seeIntelligence goes beyond academics, goes beyond Perception, understanding, reasoning, logics and of course emotional intelligence.

Me: Wow👏 Does it go around it?Like is book part of it? Must the girl first be bookworm?

Bookoons :Book is part of it
My dear, if you love soccer, a girl who knows soccer is learned to you
Intelligence is also relative term, Book smart isn't intelligence
It's a part of it
As a nerd, I'll find a nerdy girl intelligent As a crypto enthusiast, I'll find a girl like that intelligent.

Me: But are you saying a bookworm girl might not be regarded as intelligent?

bookoons: Yes. If that's all she knows.
