EQUALITY (WHY IT WON'T HAPPEN)
Equality...
There is an awful lot of talk going around these days regarding equality, and disparity between different groups etc.
This is something that sounds good on the surface to the unread, and more importantly the inexperienced. Seriously, what could be bad about equality?
Well, besides the fact that it largely doesn't exist there are a few problems.
When was the last time you genuinely saw two people who were actually equal in any real sense? Even identical twins which have nearly identical DNA, socio-economic status, parents, education, and so on.
You most likely won't see an equality of outcome in their lives, because they simply are not the same person. Their personalities, likes, dislikes, ambitions, and such may drive them in wildly different directions in life resulting in the obvious disparity of outcomes.
Why this glaringly obvious point is so often glossed over by seemingly endless amounts of people is quite disturbing and just plain silly.
We all have our own giftings, preferences, inclinations of what we wish to be and to suggest that we should all end up with equality of outcome is beyond childish. Equality in many areas is not logically achievable.
We cannot miraculously make things and people equal, that are not. No matter how much anyone would like to tweek the meanings of words. There is and will continue to be inequality. Stop with the "fairness, equity and social justice" nonsense already.
Say for the sake of argument that it were possible to evenly distribute all wealth throughout the entire earth, every man women and child had $100,000.00 to do with as they pleased.
In a few hours there would be wealth disparity between different individuals and it would be absolutely beyond anyone's control to stop it. People would voluntarily trade, plot, work together, scam, and steal themselves into total inequality, the horror!
The best one can hope for is equality under God's laws, or natural laws if the former something you chose not to acknowlege. For the sake of plain speech and practicality, there are certain immutable things in this three dimensional universe that can be observed.
Without getting too abstract let's use the law of gravity as one example. It matters not, what you look like, how wealthy you are, or aren't, where you were born, what car you drive, or how special you think you are. It applies, every single moment of every day. that's about as close to equality as you are likely to find.

Well said. Equal outcome is not a "right".
