Focus on the bigger WHY and you will find your LIFE PURPOSE.

One of my life purpose is to do what I love the most.

I used to care about what others think until I realise that we shouldn’t just change WHO we are just because we don’t meet their ideals. And just because we don’t pay attention to their feedbacks and what not doesn’t mean we are being negative.

It is because we value ourselves more to understand our reasons and purpose that we don’t have to necessarily change who we are just to suit their expectation to be the kind of person they want us to be.

Best way to deal with those who refuse to get to know you better or understand that you are also human like them is to walk away. For me, I hate confrontations. And in my opinion, to gel with one another is to put effort on it. Yes both!

But sometimes, you lose and keep some people in your life. And that is okay. Everyone that comes into your life has a purpose too. They either come to teach you life lessons in order for you to progress on the emotional level, or to help you become the person that you are today either in terms of energy or resources.

Your life purpose can either be to help others, to grow others, to enrich others or teach others. In a nutshell, we all will meet all these FOUR teachers in our lives, and they can be anyone. Your partners, your spouse, friends, colleagues, clients, customers and even your kids.

So these days, I realise that I live my life for me, my loved ones, the good friends that were behind me, the community that I serve and the causes I support. So it doesn’t really matter if I can’t please everyone because I can’t.

How do you find your life purpose?

I used to ask myself that a lot when I was younger. Until I found my WHY.

And that 3 letter word makes me reflect on what I needed to do in order to understand what I want out of life.

I realised that every life decisions I have made thus far, from relationships to friendships to career and business, brought me closer to understand my WHY.

I left my comfort zone 2 years ago to enter another chapter in life that is totally alien to me. I went into it with both feet, not knowing what lies ahead of me and I thought I was ready to take on what may come. It was tough and I recalled crying more than laughing. One thing for sure, I realised that I NEED to go through that pain, meeting people that comes and goes in life in order to “GROW”.

It was actually the WHY that fuels me to keep going and focus. The WHY can be more than one reasons.

Some people manage to find their WHY after doing their soul searching. There are many ways for you to do this – and only you know when you are ready to go for it, where to go from here and how you will find your answer. No mentor, sifu, guru or coach can tell you WHEN you will find it.

It doesn’t have to be an expensive journey to some gorgeous country, although you can consider doing something like the “Eat-Pray-Love” style where you can go economy as a backpacker to some local towns or village you have never been to and start reflecting what others do so you can slowly find your life purpose.

Or you can either get yourself into a spiritual journey, go deep in prayer and then just surrender to God to guide you.

Some people found their WHY and Life Purpose when they got into a major meltdown or an accident that left a huge impact on them.

Either ways you will be able to find your WHY, provided you REFLECT on your life journey and what you have gone through thus far that brings you to where you are today. The moment you know what fuels you to do things, you will find your WHY.

So what happens after you found your WHY?

Well, to me that is when you will find your life purpose.

Now that it’s clear to me what my life purpose is, I now know where to go from here.

I no longer worried about things that doesn’t bother me that much because I know if I worry about something I can’t change, it will only siphon my energy off for nothing.

FOCUS on what matters to you. Not what other people think about you because people likes to make assumption of things they are not very clear of, even I am not an exception. That’s why I say I am human too. FOCUS on what makes you happy and just be in your zone. FOCUS on what enriches your soul. FOCUS on positive people that deserve your attention and love.

What happens if you can’t find your WHY and life purpose?

Well, perhaps it’s not your time yet. The awakening period is not the same for everyone. We all have our own timeline. Everyone’s journey is unique.

The worst that can happen if you can’t find your WHY and life purpose (mostly because you refuse to seek for them) is that you would probably live a life that is unclear of your own direction and may succumb to life challenges that could probably leave you scarred. No right or wrong on this. Some of us are spiritually strong enough to overcome it.
