LAPtop has no wheels

A 35-year-old man was working on his laptop. His 4-years-old son was trying hard to get dad’s attention through various activities; throwing pieces of stuff in the room, shouting daddy-daddy, pulling daddy’s hand, opening and closing door, running here and there, laughing loudly to make his presence felt to his dad.

After so much effort, when he realised his daddy is not going to pay attention, small kid pulled his collection of supercars out and started playing with them. Supercars race was over in 15 minutes, and again kid looked towards his dad hopelessly. Slowly he started walking towards his dad . Put one leg on dad’s chair and climbed to his table. He sat their with crossed arms.

He said, “Daddy, I don’t want to grow up.”

Daddy was surprised with the thought of 4-year-old kid which is too big for his age.

He paused his work for the moment and asked him, “Son, why you don’t want to grow up ?”

Kid replied, “ I don’t like it, you are working on your laptop; you don’t play with me, If I grow up I will have to do the same; I want to play with toys, I don’t want to work on the laptop, I don’t want to be like daddy.”

kid paused and looked towards laptop and said

“Also you can't race with laptop, Look here dad, laptop has no wheels. I have supercars with wheels, play with it, take my toys and throw your laptop”

Father choked up with the reply of his 4 year old kid. He hugged his son tightly. He wanted to cry. He realised how hard his son was trying for his attention. How come he didn’t realise this? He has provided all the toys, all the supercars but all his son wants……

“A SUPER DAD”.

And, he promised himself to be the one.
