HORSES. The language of communication. Video
I can talk about horses for a long time, in detail and get everyone around. Because this topic is very close to me, but I'm just a fan of them). But today I want to talk only about the language of communication.
Do you know that you can talk with a horse? "Well, of course," you will say, "People talk with a cat or a dog." And if I tell you that horses can respond in response? Honestly, some of you would immediately send me to the address, well, or they would give me a ticket to one funny place. But I'm still there early, and I really do not want to)))
So, the horse language of communication. I will tell you the example of a horse that I had for a couple of years. (With the access to the decree, the horse had to be sold, but it fell into good hands.) But this does not apply to the case). It's a horse, a thoroughbred Arab. I was at the age of three, practically untrained, but with my "cockroaches": he threw off the rider, tried to "land" on any fence and shied away from any abrupt sounds and movements.
Meet Sky and me.
So how do horses communicate? The main language is their body. They "read" the emotions of a person (or any other living being), analyzing his body and movement in space. Well, as these animals are still "herd victims", it is a way to survive for them in natural conditions. The horses have a very sharp hearing, and the viewing angle is about 270 degrees (out of 360). And the only way to survive is to flee. Therefore, the one who learned about the danger before all (on the motion of grass or the branches of bushes - survived))) It's an instinct. But if the horse does not threaten anything at the moment, then the brain turns on, which can be analyzed and interpreted. Horses can also think.
And now back to the language. To communicate with the horse you have to decide for yourself what I want to say to the horse at the moment. And show your intention. It's like playing an activity, when you have to portray something so that your companion understands you.
To call a horse - you can scream, attract all kinds of attention ... but she will not go. This is for her white noise. Looks only, threatens life or not. And that's all, no response (unless it's a threat, of course). And here it is necessary to change a little position of the body in space and "to invite" the horse to itself, having opened shoulders, - and here it is, a horse! Itself came. And if you want the horse to go around you in a circle? Take the cord, hang ammunition and scourge in the hands? Force, of course, you can ... but this is it? No. It's enough just to show where you have to go. Horses understand everything. And they can tell about it.
Do not believe that this is possible? Look at the short video about Sky and me:
They also transmit their signals through the body: they noticed how their ears react. And when you next to the horse, assess the position of their body in space in relation to yours. What does the mouth show: is the teeth visible? These are the first signals that horses give us. If the ears are pressed - something she does not like. This is the first warning: do not do it or go away. In any case, the horse warned you. And all further responsibility is no longer on it.
Horses can smile ... and they can bite, beat off a hoof and stand up for themselves. Do not always have to run away, protecting the young horses can tear and bite their teeth, beat their hoofs: both front and back. Few will not seem to anyone. But before the attack they will be warned, even if it is a predator in front of them. There is an unspoken rule: if I warned you and you do not react, then I'm right.
But we are not going to talk about the bad, our horses are also transmitting their "feelings" through biting. They quickly move their upper lip and "tickle" a person (and more often, of course, another horse) in the neck, shoulders, back. I always goose bumps, very funny.
And how can a horse learn anything? The usual force (and more often they are power, with whip or scourge) methods take months and years. And this rustling raincoat can be put on a shy horse for a couple of lessons, and the horse will have ammunition, so as not to run away. And if you just agree? That couple of minutes. It took me about 5 minutes, and then 5 minutes I still took pictures of the horse while he looked around))
I can speak about the language of the body, but it becomes clear only when communicating. Yes, I could write what to do in one or the other situation ... but this is how to talk about Chinese, without knowing any of the basics and realizing that you will never need it. And with practice, the language is mastered much faster, be it necessary))
Communication with the horse, this is a kind of dance. And without a partner it can not be learned.
Thank you for watching!

"if I warned you and you do not react, then I'm right."
This is so true, most animals act like that.
I love animals very much, I was happy to read your excellent post and learn a lot of new things about horses
Things I never knew before.
Many thanks for an excellent and interesting post
Thank you! I try to share my knowledge as much as possible.

Thank you @amalinavia
Awww. Sky is a beautiful horse! I enjoyed watching you two interact together in the video. It seems like you guys are good friends.
Thank you))
The most faithful animal to be sure. Great post, video and photographs.
Thank you)
This is fascinating. I have never spent much time around horses, but I know that our dogs very much understand and communicate with us, so I'm not surprised that horses do as well!
It's awesome that you have that connection and communication with your horse.
I didn't even realize you weren't a native English speaker. You write very well!
Thank you) It takes me a lot of time to write and translate unknown words) but I think in the future it will pay off in full.
I think it will, too! You're already doing an awesome job. Learning by doing is sometimes the best way!
i've always wanted to learn how to ride a horse and own one! but because I live in the city, there really isn't any opportunity at all... and also somewhere along the lines I found out that there's a horse club near my house but I had to start with scooping poop first. HAHA!
What a lovely write up dear. I really enjoyed it. It was something totally unique and refreshing!
Great info!! ...really interesting 😊
very nice explained to communucation with horse.
