Wisdom of the Day - Life is very interesting... in the end, some of your greatest pains, become your greatest strengths. (Drew Barrymore)

in #life3 years ago

There is a verse in the Bible in which Paul speaks about how they were comforted in order to comfort others who experience similar trouble. Have you ever thoughts about how the hardships in your life might be there so that you will be able to help other people who are going through similar hardships?

When people are depressed, one of the biggest lies they tell themselves is that nobody else can understand them and that nobody has experienced life the way they are in this very moment. But, the truth is – people have experienced the same before, and help is out there, if you are willing to receive it.

One of the greatest helps you can give is to give on what you have experienced and learned yourself. So, instead of feeling sorry for yourself in this very moment, why don't you stand up instead and decide that what was meant for your harm and what was meant to hurt you, is going to be used for your advantage instead? Not only because you will end up conquering the problem, but because you through your victory will be able to help others who are suffering from the same problem, or at least suffer in a similar way?

I guess Drew Barrymore might not be known for all her big wisdom and smart saying, but I truly believe that the quote of the day gives us a lot of wisdom that can help us overcome on days of big challenges and trials and temptations.

And yes, what you overcome today, might turn into your biggest strength tomorrow. The fact that you won today, might give you a step-stone that will become your strength tomorrow. So don't give up, but keep on working, and see how it will help you grow!
