Verse 1 Of the Tau

When you read the first Verse of the Tau, my first response was What The Fuck is this all about, so be prepared to have your mind stretched in a manner, similar to pulling a condom over your foot

So here goes

Ist Verse
The Tao that can be told
is not the eternal Tao
The name that can be named
is not the eternal name.
The Tao is both named and nameless
As nameless it is the origin of all things
as named it is the Mother of 10,000 things.
Ever desireless, one can see the mystery
ever desiring, one sees only the manifestations
And the mystery itself is the doorway
to all understanding

WTF DOES THIS MEAN

• Turn Your Attention to being Open Minded
• Turn inward with Curiosity about your feelings
• Give non judgemental attention to anything that comes your way without labelling, explaining or defending
• Take the time to explore the mystery of all things in life
• Accept whatever Comes
  So there you have my take on verse 1, I'm looking for comments & discussion, especially anyone who has read or studied the Tau
