The Whiskers Between Insanity and Genius

The line between madness and genius is thin. Whisker thin.
One person's madness is another's reality.
One person's reality is another's madness.
Is society mad? Or am I mad?
Or are we both different varieties of insane?

Cats use their whiskers to navigate.

Dogs see through their nose. Smelling is stronger than their eyes.

Humans navigate the world with words, concepts and ideas.

We're cut off from our body. We're cut off from our senses.

But then there are the sensitive souls. Ones who sense the energy and temperature of rooms and people. Ones who see beyond the veil. Ones who are physically here yet part of them are beyond time and space. They really see people, with their souls and their essences.

The challenge is pumping that into something productive... translating it into things the masses understand. Taking that inward focus outward and alchemising it into something that others can value. When that happens billions are made and it's a capitalist success story. Or art is made that touches and massages people's innermost selves.

When it's not channeled, or it's opened into hostile situations, there can be danger. There's misunderstanding. The person is degraded by society or locked away for insanity. The wierdness makes things worse and that person can implode or attempt to self-destruct.

Insanity and genius are two sides of the same coin. When you see what others can't - and connect what others don't connect - you're always the outsider.

But the key is to use those whiskers to navigate, strut and create the gold to mend our hearts and world
