365 days a year. Why?

Today is November 1, and so it was, that it remained one month to Xmas and the holidays. The year is once again running out and slowly but surly.

I am finding it hard to speak my message across, but I will try my possible best to move forward with it.

The main bone of contention here is that one should not be limited by the mental image we all have about the rotating year. After dec 31, the next day Jan 1 doesn't mean a restart. Rather than start counting from ‘’one’’ again, continue with your goals and objectives, your ambitions and your
Those in the know are already planning how 2018 is supposed to run, how to progress and move forward.
But for now I would like us all to wait and look at the current system of which we measure, days, weeks, months and the year.

Similarly, every 365 days, it has been hardwired into us that a reset occurs. We enter a ‘’new year’’ it seems. But who invented such format? For what reason? And why do we use it basically for any thing we do?

The Gregorian calendar

The current calendar system in use in many places of the world is called the Gregorian calendar, and it was introduced by pope Gregory XIII in October 1582.
This calendar, was itself a successor of another calendar known as the julian calendar. Something I will not be talking about today(maybe later).
Rumours has it that the current calendar we use was adopted by the pope and the roman empire just so they could set the proper dates for Easter.

Either way, the Gregorian calendar consist of 365.2425 days, which then cycles as ‘’years’’ 2017, 2018, 2019 . . . . and so on.

having 365 days in a year?

Many times I see having 365 repeating days a limitation on the mind itself. Although it could not be so, but no matter the years that goes by, we still age in the usual way that we would age.
Do not get me wrong, the calendar isn’t bad, it is one of the best ways to organise your plans and think of the future. It aids in setting goals and achievements.

365 days isn't something that moves, as my grand pa will say. Stop restricting yourself by giving yearly ultimatums, stop restricting yourself by thinking in 365 rotating days. The days are free, uncounted yet counted, after the 365th day, time doesnt restart, the calendar does, but not your goals and objectives.

I really really hope I was able to pass my message across.
