Fascinating. Most of us don't think of the eye as a diagnostic window. This one is new to me, but I am aware of other disorders that may be detected through an eye exam. A reminder to doctors, and patients that a thorough eye exam might be a good idea from time to time--though not every year. Who has the patience for that? :))
