What can you tell from the picture above? Is it about working hard? Or working smart? Is about intelligence? The smartest guy in the room? Or is it about resilience? Consistency in doing something to achieve everything?
Have you ever wondered why it's so hard for you to finish something you've started? Have you noticed why some people still taking the same route, though you never know why they took it in the first place? Have you ever frustrated seeing all those people who could achieve greatness, happiness, and mostly living their lives with fulfillment? There's no secret in what they did, and what they do. They all have consistency.

As I'm writing this article on Steemit, I also know that I have to be consistent, putting on a day-to-day quality content and make sure not to forget what I already set my mind to, in the start. There's an equilibrium in working hard and smart. You have to find the harmony between those two.

Find your 'true' why

Dave Graziosi, one of the successful realtor and motivational speaker, in his talk of Millionaire Success Habits, once said that everybody should find their 'true' why. Not a 'why', but a 'true' why. The steps to finding your 'true' why is by asking yourself the 'why' of your doing in 7-level depth. For each next question, ask 'why' prior to the previous one. For example; Why I want to be successful? Because I want to provide for my family. Why do you want to provide for your family? Because I want them not to worry about money and be happy. Why you want to them to be happy? And ask this 'why' question until the 7th times. That's where you'll find your 'true' why.

Avoid Multitasking

When you multitask, you'll burn out faster than you could ever imagined. This is also one of the reasons why procrastination happen. When you got so much in your hands, you'll feel overwhelmed with every task, incoming deadlines, and this in turn will affect your productivity but mostly, the quality of your work. Do one thing at a time. Quality before quantity. It is better to achieve 100% of something in a day than a 30% of something in a week.

Learn The Art Of Following-Through

Once you get yourself in your work, you're ready to make the best out of it. But often times, some projects were left unfinished due to the loss of interests. Discipline yourself to see through every work until it's finished. Back to my 2nd point above, you should avoid doing too many things at once because you'll find it hard to follow through when you think you have no space between one project and the other. But once you finished one or two, you'll develop the habit of following through. You won't left any work unfinished again.

Set Your Daily Goals

The easiest way to lose track of achieving your long-term goals is your failure to set your short-term goals. You should set your daily goals prior to what you should or shouldn't do. This way, you won't waste time focusing on eliminating white noises and unimportant matters. Have priorities. At the end of the day, take some time to reflect. Which goals have you achieved and which one can be achieved tomorrow. The goals you achieved on a daily basis will motivate to reach the bigger ones in the future to come.
