WHY BLOW YOUR TRUMPET?

“If we judge ourselves only by our aspirations and everyone else only their conducts, we shall soon reach a very false conclusion.” – Calvin Coolidge.

We are in a generation where people consider mediocrity as humility. Many say; "why do too much?" but my take has been "a man needs to do too much to go too far beyond expectations and barriers".

One can not be a faultfinder and be a pathfinder at the same time. You would rather be one.

There are volumes of things that people really still don't know about us. There are ongoing plans that no one has heard of neither is there a bit of it publicized. Things we share or post are just fragments of our intentions that people need and desires to know.

People would be making a big mistake if they thing we have shared all of who we are. There are experiences, dealings, challenges and testimonies that we can't even share for general consumption.

"To become a better you, secure your dreams from the jaws of people who discredit your ambitions." - Israelmore Ayivor

We should use the critisms and people's false comments about us to learn how to response to people when we step further to the bigger picture.

If people are already saying we are blowing our trumpet at this stage, it should amuse us seriously. Mind you, the trumpet belongs to us and we didn't borrow it. The question we should ask our critics is "where is your own trumpet, did we borrow your trumpet".

If our acts and progress at the moment is qualified as a trumpet, that means we still have a shofar which is louder than a trumpet in our custody that is about to be blown. If your progress at the moment is already giving some folks head aches, hmmmm, you may have to prepare to buy drugs as gift continually for them because they may never recover as their case would become more chronic due to the bigger exploits ahead of you.

If we write and talk on purpose, we can write it confidently because we have discovered purpose. If we preach on the supernatural, we are confident of the encounters and experiences.

Let me borrow words from the revivalist, Iyke Oriaku, "this online glory is not glory yet; our life worth more than what we display on social media". There are dimensions we are yet to lay hold on. There are still some torns in our flesh that we are crying to heaven to heal. There are still some things God told us that we are yet to experience the reality.
