Yours is an interesting perspective. The online world has brought about an unfortunate circumstance where people can spend all their time around people who agree with them and completely ignore those who don't. So critical thinking isn't necessary to function, and all they need are canned responses. I've never considered that someone might be forced into this due to a physical issue.
In my opinion, a person needs different perspectives to challenge their own beliefs, even if their own beliefs are working for them. What I mean is probably the worst people out there are the people who live in echo chambers, and their dogma has brought them worldly success. I'm just not on board with the ignorance is bliss mentality, even if that ignorance pays.
I'm only one person with one opinion, but I think you should do what you can to communicate with and seek out the perspectives of others. Sweeping things under the rug is going to be counterproductive in the long run. In my opinion, success in life is becoming the best you that you can be. Sometimes that means reforming and reconfiguring. But also I think the evidence of you becoming the best you that you can be is found in the relationships you have with other people and the world around you. In this, communication is key.
