The same is true in the USA. As a kid, I grew up on the outskirts of a large city, and in my teens my family moved to exurb of another major city. The life to which I grew accustomed as a child was calm, slower paced, and there was quite a bit of nature. As an adult, I live in a big city, it's all hustle and bustle and while there are many conveniences... I find myself missing that slower life. So, here, on the other side of the world, you have a person with the same feeling :)
