My friend's uncle needs our help. Steemitians, can you lend a hand?

Hey everyone,

I would just like preface this by saying out of all the online communities I've been a part of over the years, Steemit has without a doubt been the most generous -- which is why I'm asking a very special favor from the Steemit community today.

One of my best friends, recently had his world turned upside down when his uncle in New York City was sucker punched for literally no reason while walking to the pharmacy for some medicine and ended up in a coma.

My friend and and his family recently recieved the heartbreaking news that his uncle will likely not make it out from the coma and only has a short time left to live.

While the family is doing their best to enjoy the moments they have left, the future passing of his uncle will be extremely devasting both emotionally and financially, and as such, I would like to rally the Steemit community to help assist the family with funeral costs, medical bills, and lost wages.

It also goes without saying, 100% of all funds raised will go directly to the family in need and I am extremely transparent online at @aboundlessworld (aka you can be assured 100% of the funds will go directly to the family.) For context two extremly active Steemit users @piedpier and @dudutaulois can personally vouch for my character.
